This Old Cloud is a workshop.

Filled with tools and raw materials, a workshop exists to make; it’s impossible to be in one without feeling the potential energy surrounding you. But where we make we also learn from our successes and failures. And we make each other better when we share our experiences.

It’s going to be messy, but also fun. If you want to share in my passion for app building and digital transformation using Salesforce, and you can tolerate my humor and penchant for analogies, we’ll get along just fine.

Hi, I’m Mitch Lynch. I work as a Distinguished Solution Engineer within Salesforce’s Global Public Sector organization.

I’m also the Salesforce Architect for the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry, which uses the power of the Platform to distribute 350,000 lbs of food to 36,000 people a year in the DC metro area.

In past lives, I’ve been an archaeologist, a project manager, an African policy analyst, and a settler of Catan.

But when I’m AFK, I can be found in my workshop, converting lumber into very expensive sawdust. There’s no ‘undo’ button. No Git repo for reverting changes. Just great tools, lots of creativity, and bottomless excitement for bringing ideas to life. Or just nearly.
